We recently cooked a Thai banquet for a group of ex-pats from around the world that included fried chicken wrapped in pandan leaves; fried chicken wings with lemongrass; a super-spicy beef salad with ground roasted rice, green beans, and fresh green chilis (which left us all a bit runny-nosed); steamed grass noodles with shiitake mushrooms; and several other dishes as well.
