It’s sponsored by the union to which employees at the state’s wine and spirits stores belong is running to fight efforts to end the state monopoly on sales of those products. Veteran readers may recall my writing about the idiocy of the law, and how it makes trying to buy wine in Pennsylvania like shopping at the DMV. According to this shameless ad, if the free market comes to wine and spirits sales, somebody’s daddy is going to die. Probably her kitten too. Satisfied, ye Keystone State winebibbers?
