Bill Buckley was once asked to name his favorite journey.

“Home,” he said.

And he was right. He usually was.

I want to tell y’all about my time in New Orleans, and will do so tomorrow. But tonight, after 11 days on the road telling folks about The Little Way Of Ruthie Leming, it’s time to go to sleep. In my bed. My own wonderful bed, with my own beautiful wife in it, and my children sleeping in their own beds across and down the hall, and Roscoe in the living room on his bed.
