Yesterday here, some of y’all were wondering why on earth somebody like me would feel more culturally at home in the Republican Party, despite having serious disagreements with some of the policies the party’s leaders advocate, and despite having changed my registration to Independnet. This great Daily Show clip (thanks, Noah G., for sending it) goes a long way toward explaining why. I know, I know, it’s a humor clip from a satirical program, and not all Democrats feel the way these jerks do. Still, there’s more than a little truth in it.
