… then please pray for my old friend M., across the ocean, who is having an intense chemo procedure today. And please pray for her family — M.’s child, especially, and all who love her. She is young, and the cancer is winning. Her family are now watching the tide come in, and feeling to the marrow their own impotence, their powerlessness to save the one they love.
