Home/Rod Dreher/Ann Romney: Babe

Ann Romney: Babe

She’s good, y’all. She’s really good. I wish she were running for president. She was talking to women tonight, and I think she connected. What do you think?

All the talk about how hard she and Mitt had it as young marrieds was fairly affected, but boy, she really sold her husband with great conviction and great charisma — two qualities you don’t associated with Mitt Romney.

UPDATE: Never imagined that Ann Romney would upstage Chris Christie, but she certainly did. I like Christie’s gruff delivery, but it started to sound shticky when it became evident that he didn’t have much to say. By the time he finished, he was barking like a high school football coach.
