Please allow me some shameless promotion. This is a video I helped produce promoting my alma mater, the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts. I did the interviews, and shot most of the footage. What great kids these are. My oldest son is considering applying to its sophomore class. I hope he gets in, and chooses to go; LSMSA changed my life, in every good way. People don’t expect schools this innovative to come from a place like Louisiana, but LSMSA did, back in 1983, and it’s still going strong. To me, one of the best things about moving home is the possibility that one (or more) of my children will be able to go to LSMSA. One of the students featured in the video is the son of one of my LSMSA classmates. Which is just cool.
