Today on theamericanconservative.com, Samuel Goldman reviewed Chris Hayes’s new book on American elites, Robert P. Murphy argued that Paul Ryan’s ‘draconian’ budget is vastly overrated, and Noah Millman chided Mediscaring on both sides.
Millman also identified Thomas Friedman’s ‘conservative’ party, but it’s not what you think. Rod Dreher largely agreed with his assessment, but Daniel Larison didn’t (Millman’s follow-up here). Scott Galupo thought David Brooks should quit talking to himself, Larison reassessed the bipartisan foreign policy consensus, and Michael Brendan Dougherty explained that Todd Akin stands in the way of pro-life political goals.
