According to House Speaker Boehner, giving more money to the Federal Government is like “would be like giving a cocaine addict more cocaine.” In case anybody is interested, Boehner voted in favor of  invading Iraq and the Medicare Part D entitlement during the last Republican presidency. I’m sure that a bit of research would reveal that Boehner has voted to spend several trillion dollars of the your money in his time.

Mollie Hemingway at Ricochet is impressed with Boehner’s rhetoric. “While I love dry discussion of economic theory, an effective politician knows to use imagery to convey an underlying principle. Let’s see more of this.”

Ever the cynic, I can’t help noticing the Boehner’s nose is caked with white powder.
