Question of the Day

Is it okay to buy “End the Cuban Embargo” coffee even if it’s got one of those ridiculous pictures of Che Guevara on the front?

  1. Yes, John, it is. Surely you are an ad-resistant social conservative? At least I like to think of you that way. And the embargo needs to go. So go with the purpose, not the pic.

  2. Find out if the coffee’s good, first, and then decide?

  3. I’m assuming you use the $50 dollar bill, despite the presence of Ulysses Grant on it.

  4. Well, I’m not sure of the last time I used a fifty. But I do use twenties despite the presence of Andrew Jackson.

  5. I’m going with Nathan … I guess there are causes I’d drink bad coffee for, but not many. (Prime among them, of course, is getting rid of a caffeine headache.)

And you can always just cover up the picture of Che once you buy the coffee, right? You own duct tape, no?

  6. Only if you also buy a pound of Contra Cafe.
