It’s not often that I’ll find myself taking sides with the old Russophobe and proponent of hegemony, but this is one of those times. Scarborough’s repetition of the question, “What would YOU do if a neighbouring country were firing missiles into your cities?” was not merely tiresome, but an invitation to a smackdown. The answer, obviously, is not, “Something stupid and counterproductive like conducting a bombardment.”

His preening recitation of the canard that Arafat walked away from “the best deal he could get” was embarrassing. It’s remarkable that people with brains even go on TV anymore.
That’s nothing. Shepherd Smith will see Scarborough’s stubborn ignorance and raise him one turn at faux-outrage:

Quite frankly, as an ordinary American citizen, I don’t give a rats’ behind what it says in the Hamas charter. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say (yet) that America or Americans owe Israel a thing, and that includes taking on their problems.
