		<description>This entry smacks of some ideological confusion.  

If Obama is considering how many troops to deploy, rather than take home, how is he more leftist than Wilsonian liberal internationalist?  If they are trying to overthrow Karzai, and, failing that, install an Afghan CEO, appointed by the US, with virtual administrative powers, how is that more leftist than imperialist? 

And how is the Huffington Post criticism not preferable to the actual policy?</description>
