From his mouth to God’s Ears
Bret Stephens of WSJ, who has been giving Max Boot a run for his money in the sheer insanity department, lays out a nightmare scenario in which peace breaks out all over and we take tangible steps toward a nuclear-free world.
And lest Bret’s invocation of the Holocaust goes unanswered, Phil’s tribute to the recent passing of Marek Edelman, the last surviving leader of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising and the Last of the Mohicans of my beloved old cause, genuinely made me cry.

Really?
I think it’s the closer that really does it for me:
“An Israeli diplomat observed bitterly that Jan. 20 was the 68th anniversary of the Wannsee conference, which historians believe is where Nazi Germany planned the extermination of European Jewry. An administration spokesman said the timing of the vote was “purely coincidental.”
This — that Stephens would set something so terrible as a break-out of peace in the world on 20 Jan., leading himself into this concluding paragraph — just screams provocation of the most childish order.
Besides, we all know that, deep down, Obama is a Muslim, so this only makes sense.
