I don't think it is the lord we would be battling over. It would be the Pipelineistan that Pepe Escobar writes about.

I could not in good conscience vote for either candidate in this past election. So I voted for Samantha Brown, that wonderfully perky lady on the Travel Channel. I have no regrets.

Kissinger would have been one of McCain's advisers, and I didn't notice David Frum manning the wheel either. McCain may have pushed for some sort of cap and trade deal, but he certainly wouldn't have wanted a single payer national health service. If you didn't like either candidate, but really wanted to make those darned neo-cons scurry off, you should have voted for Chuck Baldwin or Bob Barr or wrote in Ron Paul. Obama is not a conservative or a rightist or a centrist in any form or fashion, and I'm perplexed as to how one can reconcile being a rightist in any sense while supporting Obama vis a vis this "pro-obama conceit".

Well that basically confirms your ignorance in my eyes. McCain would have never nationalized the banks or car companies. And yes, I believe he would have vocally supported the regime's dissenters - Thank God.

McCain may or may not have intervened militarily after the Iranian election, but in any event he would have acted with extreme and vintage recklessness. On economics, he would have likely been more or less the same.

"While some of my pro-Obama conceit has been wearing off lately, the events last June were a stark reminder of why McCain had to be kept out of the White House at all costs."

Do you honestly think McCain would have been worse than this socialist creature? It's hard to take anyone seriously who writes such things, but especially a self-identified conservative!
