Santorum Needs To Find More Voters, Fewer “WMDs” (II)

Well, an assertion it must remain, since degraded mustard gas shells do not a cache of WMDs make.  However, half of the public is apparently so confused by the constant streams of Santorumesque propaganda that it is willing to believe that there were WMDs in Iraq.  It remains to be seen whether these alternate-reality folks have many representatives in Pennsylvania.  My guess is that Santorum is in a heap of trouble, and all of this flapping his arms and shouting, “WMD!” will avail him nothing.  His belated discovery of the immigration issue might work to his advantage, if anyone believed that it was anything other than a late, desperate attempt to stave off humiliating defeat.  I predict that being tough on immigration is going to be the new biennial shell game for members of the Party of Immigration, Imperialism and Insolvency to replace their old shell game of talking about pro-life issues.
