		<description>For an op-ed that purports to explain why Brazil should cut it&#039;s ties with Iran, there isn&#039;t a single example on how Brazillian and Iranian internal interests are in conflict. There is a lot of talk about Israel for some reason, and then a passionate argument that Iran&#039;s anti-democratic actions are almost as bad as the Saudi&#039;s.</description>

		<description>it baffles me how difficult it seems to be for many of the politicians and a great many of the pundits to realize what seems fairly obvious to much of the world: we are no longer kingmakers. most countries would be glad for our presence at the coronation, but we are no longer necessary to actually fit the crown. and if we choose not to show up, well the show is going to go on without us. i don&#039;t find this to be at all a bitter pill to swallow, but for many it apparently causes a great deal of dyspepsia. that shrill &#039;respect mah authoritah!&#039; crap just ain&#039;t cuttin&#039; it any more.</description>
