Current Issue
When you write that we need to address the grievances of the Pashtun, what exactly are those grievances? If they wish to dominate Tajiks, Hazaras, and other ethnic groups, can the U.S. (or India and Iran for that matter) agree to that? It seems we have to put just as much thought as how we can get Islamabad to stop treating Afghanistan as a strategic asset to be used in its regional rivalry against India.
