You might think the absence of such a backlash would tell him something about the merits of a bombardment meant to quell the Serb's alledgedly ruthless nationalism, just as you would think a sworn enemy of "moral equivalence" would be reluctant to expect the Islamic mullahs to show the same restraint and respect for life as Orthodox Christians. Alas, such is the National Review today!
