Thanks for this! I was driving home tonight and heard 30 seconds of Glen Beck spouting about Obama's "apology tour" and turned him off, thinking...do guys like Beck not understand that a huge chunk of America has instant access to vast arrays of information, and that we use these sources?

Do they not understand how Beck and his ilk totally destroy their own brand outside of the 20% of the public that is ideologically bound to them when they spout such instantaneously demonstrably false information?

I mean, c'mon. A quick tour of the intertubes will dispel all the myth-making of Beck, Krauthammer, Rove, Rush, et al.

Daniel, the unfortunate fact is that these people are about power and tribalism, hence their irrational attitudes... the problem is that Obama is not of their ilk in several dimensions, so substantial agreement is irrelevant. The results of their unsound policies are that Americans unlike them end up engaged in deadly combat with foreigners unlike them, and atrocities on both sides are inevitable, upon which they comment from the sanctuary of their thinktanks and columns. As I have stated before in several other contexts, you and other principled conservatives cannot have any truck with such. That day is done and should never have been.
