		<description>The main difference, I think, is that what Dean was trying to articulate was that the lower-class whites in the South who voted Republican were voting against their own economic interests. 

What Steele is proposing is that the GOP alter its image to appeal to a more &quot;urban&quot; demographic. Which reminds me of nothing more than this Daily Show clip, which I thought at the time was absurdist humor.
