Culture is at the root, but when Leviathan is lumbering around crushing everything in sight, the natural alliances are between those who demand it be slain as soon as possible and beyond any possibility of recovery. Those trying to ride, leash, or harness leviathan are the enemy even if not intentionally.

The liberals summoned the evil beast, but the easy mistake for conservatives was to believe changing its rider would change its direction. The same mistake the hopeless audacity is making as I write this.

It cannot work, but conservatives, like parents of a prodigal child, can only wait for things to reach their conclusion and be ready to pick up the pieces.
