Ajjan
This Philip Weiss post on the role of Near Eastern affairs in Passaic County politics brought a question to mind: what has George Ajjan, our man in Passaic County, been doing lately? His latest post shows a promotional poster for the Inaugural in Senegal, where he travels from time to time, but we haven’t heard much from George over the last few months. If you haven’t read his blog before, I recommend looking back through his archives for very interesting discussions of Near Eastern politics and U.S. policy.

Thanks for mentioning Ajjan and his blog. His, is an interesting perspective and I will keep him on my radar. Christian-American Arabs such as he get very little attention. He is an astute observer and participant in the tribal politics of New Jersey. I differ with him over the ultimate assimilation of Muslims in America but gentlemen can disagree.
Well Daniel, if you were on Facebook you would know what George has been up to. :-)
Sorry for the late reply to this post, Daniel, as well as my online silence as of late. I have been quite busy in Senegal (latest project: http://www.dakarsushi.com) and political work has been quiet since the presidential, when I was frequently appearing on TV as a commentator (http://www.ajjantube.com).
I will try to do a better job of keeping in touch, but I also agree with Red – get yourself on Facebook, man!!! :)
