		<description>The elephant in the room here - and I sense that you share this belief to some extent, even if you have never articulated it in just this way - is that it appears highly likely (based upon specific bellicose language from McCain, his insane advisers, and temperament) that McCain would be much, much quicker to use military force in pursuit of what appear to be basically shared foriegn policy goals. 

That&#039;s true even if one believes that Obama&#039;s hawkishness is 100% sincere. Your post immediately following this one suggests some reasons why his &quot;real&quot; beliefs might be slightly less hawkish (albeit still, sadly, firmly within the current hegemonic consensus). See, e.g., Georgia, where his initial sane comments quite possibly represented his &quot;real&quot; beliefs.  Mind you, I don&#039;t rely upon this rationalization for my support of Obama - McCain&#039;s insane bellicosity is, IMO, reason enough. Your own oft stated opinion that you want McCain to lose suggests that you share this view at some level.</description>
