"I wonder how many votes for the McCain/Palin ticket the recent SNL sketches have generated?"

Fairly few, I suspect (in contrast to many other snobbish responses to Palin, which I think _have_ generated a pretty decent number of votes for M/P). I both suspect and hope SNL generated fewer votes than sneering at "community organizers" generated for Obama/Biden.

Serious question to the better informed than me - has McCain directly sneered at "community organizers" in any sort of high profile way? AFAIK it's just Palin and Giuliani.

"It makes your loyalties hostage to the most idiotic of your opponents, and it compels you to ignore your interests and any semblance of independent thought."
