I personally can't imagine Iran setting out to _directly_ attack Israel (although lots of things I can't imagine have happened; clearly my imagination is quite deficient). But I can imagine an Israeli-Hizbullah dustup escalating to limited direct attacks, though I think that's a pretty low probability event. But Daniel (and others) probably have better takes on the odds than I do. These last eight years have made me pretty cynical I guess so I can totally see this as the uber wedge issue which keeps radicals in charge over there.
