The militant Likudniks who favored Iraq and now want to “Bomb bomb Iran” are a minority even of politically active Jews, and they no doubt sincerely believe their aggressive fantasies (“faster, please”) are in the interest of both Israel and the US.

Commentary boasts of its influence and certainly doesn’t hide its militant Zionism under a pacifist bushel.

I happen to believe there’s lots of daylight between Israeli and US interests, but even Obama, who once may have known better, has kissed the AIPAC ring.

This isn’t so much dual loyalty as the indomitable stupidity of our strongest ethnic foreign policy lobby.
