I agree that the team losses in the playoffs were collective failures, which were all the more frustrating when I knew that they were consistently competitive when they were firing on all cylinders. And of course, those 90's era playoff disasters were team efforts. Jeff Bagwell, to take just one example, went 5-39 with 0 HR and 4 RBI for the 90's.
