Being new to this here site, I have been super-scrupulous about approving comments as quickly as possible, but such scrupulosity won’t last. I have classes to teach and a book to write. So from here on out, please forgive me if your comment has to sit in the approval queue for a few hours. I’ll get to it as soon as I can, but according to the usual measurement of internet time that won’t always be “soon.” Think of it this way: you could be writing a letter to the editor of a monthly magazine and wondering whether it’ll be printed in next month’s issue, or the issue after that, or not at all.
