It seems the second biggest lesson of the 2012 (Avoid rape discussions should have been obvious) it is necessarily not the amount money spent but how you spend the money. Unfortunately, many of the leaders of the Republican Superpacs seemed more focus on their bottom line and not on election success. (Red State is on fire.) I do wonder how the Rs can avoid this problem in 2016.

Fascinating. It appears as though The Movement, Inc. has found a way to keep the carmeles flowing from the pinata, without actually winning elections. It could be quite a business model.

Some form of “grass”roots! I mean grass, like cash, is green, right?
Why do I get the feeling that individuals loyal to Mr. Armey who resigned on principle probably didn’t get anything close to his golden parachute? This is why the whole conservative think tank apparatus is just corporate welfare in different clothing. And, yes, because these organizations are 501(c)3/4/SuperPAC are “non-profit,” taxpayers end up footing the bill while Armey and company get quite rich.
