“This is an authentic and deeply touching memoir, which honestly asks many of the best questions about the things that matter. Interacting with this story will change you!” — Wm Paul Young, author, The Shack and Cross Roads.

I’m so grateful to Mr. Young for his generous endorsement of The Little Way Of Ruthie Leming. A couple of weeks ago, a Starhill friend and cancer survivor who was one of Ruthie’s closest confidantes during her illness, told me I really needed to get over my difficulty with fiction and read The Shack. And this afternoon, right after I heard from my publisher that Mr. Young had sent in this kind praise, I ran into my cousin Emily in the drugstore, and told her about it.

“Oh my God!” she said. “That is such a great book. It changed my life. I can see why he would like it, too, because The Shack deals with the question of why bad things happen to good people.”

I hope at least some fans of The Shack and his new book Cross Roads, find their way to The Little Way Of Ruthie Leming.
