This won’t be a surprise to my regular readers, but here I am in a video interview with Andrew Sullivan sharing my theories about why American conservatives (perversely) hate France.

That’s me eating lunch above at Le Quincy, last fall in Paris. Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry was my lunch partner and the photographer. Jonah Goldberg recommended that joint, and it was the nicest thing he ever did for me, or could ever hope to do for me. That lunch was three of the best hours I’ve ever spent in my life. Read about that epic lunch with PEG here. Trust me, you go eat at Le Quincy (pron. “luh KAN-see”), you’ll love France forever.
