This is the 50th VFYT, by the way. These last few VFYTs are a perfect example of what this feature should be: putting food in a context. It doesn’t have to be a grand context (we can’t always eat in visually stunning locales), but ideally, the images should give us some information — landscape, social, aesthetic — beyond what’s being eaten.
I started doing this for something fun and light, but it’s turned out that some days these VFYTs are my favorite posts of all.




Wow, I’d sure call that visually stunning! Or maybe stunning is the wrong word. It’s so lush and beautiful — more soothing than stunning. What a gorgeous back yard!
