This is a special VFYT. That steak was grilled by my friend’s son. The boy lost his daddy two or three years ago, when he dropped dead of a heart attack, though only in his 40s. The boy is growing up, and learning how to be a young man. That means he’s finding his way around the backyard grill. This is a beautiful thing. Writes my friend:

These aren’t as elegant as your other pictures, but I wanted to share. Robert is learning to grill. He’s done some good hotdogs, and last night we enjoyed delicious burgers. Tonight, he made steak, and we enjoyed it on the patio. He’s such an amazing young man, Rod. I’m so proud of him.
