A friend of mine told me that French Macdonalds are now offering similar baguette sandwiches in their menu, tired of losing millions of sales to the traditional French baguette sandwiches sold elsewhere -still preferred among the French. I don’t know what kind of baguette Macdonalds are using, but the problem with baguettes, even though they are delicious, is that they turn to stone rather quickly. Same problem as continuously serving fresh fruit in massive quantities.
