The Blue Point in Duck, North Carolina. A quick jaunt to the Outer Banks was capped off by an incredible meal at this lovely restaurant overlooking the Currituck Bay.
Pictured here is one of the best salads of my life. Plums served on bed of arugula with goat cheese, toasted pistachios, and a vanilla black pepper vinaigrette. Incredible.
I really, really hope to make it to the Outer Banks next summer. Never been. Really curious about that place. Now I know for sure I can eat well there.




You should make sure you spend a few days on Ocracoke Island, at the southern end of the Outer Banks.
It’s quiet, peaceful and the 250 year old village is very different, and I think much more enjoyable than the typical beach experience.
