This is Oktoberfest in Baltimore: a friend of mine brews his own, and its fabulous. The FPA is good, but the Saison is staggering. Almost (almost!) erases my jealousy about the meals you are having these days. Add overcast weather, brats, and homemade barbecue sauce, and it’s a perfect Oktober afternoon.

Baltimore’s Oktoberfest must be Baltimore’s best kept secret. There was a really fun one held up in the Mt Vernon neighborhood a couple years ago, and I hoped it would become an annual tradition, but nothing last year and this post is the first I heard of it in Baltimore this year.
