Hope you’re enjoying Paris! Here’s a very anglophilic lunch beneath the shade of the catalpa trees on the palace green in colonial Williamsburg. Ham on rye from the Cheese Shop, Fentimans famous ginger beer, and crab chips. I should add the sandwich has their famous house dressing on it, Virginia ham, and absolutely no veggies.

Fred says: Hope you go to the open air market on the Rue de Levis and bring your picnic to the Parc Monceau – the most beautiful public park in all of Paris.

My wife and I visited Colonial Williamsburg this summer (in the 100-degree heat!) and loved it. We’ll be going back again next summer to milk our annual passes for every last day!
