This reminds me of the most geektastic wedding cake I’ve ever seen: the one Terry Mattingly’s daughter Sarah and her groom Jeremy Wagner a couple of summers ago. They’re both huge Tolkien fans, and had the Orthodox wedding prokeimenon (a kind of prayer) written onto layers of the cake — in Elvish. Now this is cool:

My own wedding was a Chaos Magick ceremony and folks still remember the point during the invocation of the Elder Gods of Lovecraft that the preacher-chick stumbled over Nyarlathotep and this big, blue tentacle started coming up out of the floor.
