The Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena/La Cañada/Flintridge California has long been the mssion control center for US unmanned space exploration. The launch of Curiosity was indeed from Cape Canaveral. These are just ‘fans’ of NASA, however, not actual rocket scientists.
Thanks for the laugh this morning. I guess they have a right to celebrate after getting Curiosity safely down on Mars.
