This fairytale map of Starhill, where my sister Ruthie and I grew up, and where Ruthie and her family lived, serves as the endpapers for The Little Way Of Ruthie Leming. It was created for the book by the amazing English illustrator Alice Tait. Frame-sized prints of this map will be available exclusively at Grandmother’s Buttons, a shop on Royal Street in downtown St. Francisville. This Saturday April 6, Grandmother’s Buttons is hosting me for my first Little Way signing, from 2 to 5:30 pm. That’s also the day of the St. Francisville Spring Garden Stroll, from 9am to 4pm. If you live in the area, why not come enjoy the beautiful West Feliciana gardens, and come by the shop to meet me and Ruthie’s family and friends, and buy a book and a map? Grandmother’s Buttons is the only place in the country you can buy Little Way before the April 9 publication date. The shop is generously donating half the proceeds from sales of the map to the Ruthie Leming Scholarship Fund for West Feliciana students.

And hey, I’ve got a new website now for all book-related stuff. I’m still going to be posting about the book on this blog, but if you want to know more about my tour, booking me to speak, and stuff, please visit me at roddreher.net.
