You have to watch this clip in which a tenacious Al Jazeera reporter interviewing Donald Rumsfeld actually commits journalism. I wish our broadcast journalists would be more wolverine-like in their questioning of officials — not harassing, of course, but unwilling to allow their subjects evade answering tough but legitimate questions. Too often it seems we watch our politicians on TV, and they give Miliband-like talking points, but there is only a half-hearted attempt by the interviewer to pin the subject down.
