“Why don’t more Americans take Occupy Wall Street seriously?” asked my Dutch businessman friend. “They’re right about how corrupt the system is.”

“Yes, they do have good points,” I said. “But they are hard to take seriously.”

“Because they are hippies?”

“Sort of. Mostly it’s because they have no strategy. They’re just angry, but don’t know what to do about it.”

“They don’t have leaders?”

“No, and that’s how they want it. See what I mean? Not serious.”

Well, now comes news that Occupy Denver has elected a leader: a dog. We’ll, that’ll change everything. 

You know, I hope, that this has been done before, in the Sixties. Look what happened to one of those guys.
