Spotted by a reader in a parking lot near Catonsville, Maryland. Here’s a YouTube clip of the Sisters Jammin 4 Jesus. I love this country!
Go Head, Jesus!

I love this vibe. But help a honky out: what, exactly, does “Go Head Jesus” mean? Or even approximately imply? I just can’t parse that sentence.

Jammin yes, iPod raffle no?

Go ahead Jesus, with your bad self.

Sands is right, and here is the proof, straight from the website advertised on the side of that bus:
“Evangelist Pearson realizes that in order to reach her dream, she must go through the struggle. She must stand steady and not be afraid of suffering for the Lord. She must bring others to Christ and leave nothing undone that God has assigned her to do.
“She is known for saying: ‘Go Ahead JESUS, with Your Bad Self!’”
The website only refers to her as an Evangelist, but I prefer “Prophetess” as it says on the bus.

Hey, I live not far from Catonsville (but, alas, never saw that bus)

This reminds me of a church sign that I saw on one of those sites that document funny church signs. Leading up to a Palm Sunday service, this particular sign read:
Jesus Said I’m Going To Town On That A-s-s
I repeat, this was for Palm Sunday.
