Watch this trailer for an upcoming documentary called “Eating Alabama.” By the time it ended, I had a chill down my back and a tear in my eye. Cannot wait to see it! I hope it makes it to southern Louisiana. Thanks to the two readers who sent me this link.

I’ll be seeing Eating Alabama tomorrow night at the Alabama premiere during the Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham.
I made the acquaintance of the filmmaker, Andy, and his wife a few years ago. They are a beautiful couple and Andy is a wonderful filmmaker.
I grew up on a farm in Northwest Alabama and I’m in the midst, this season, of returning our land to sustainable food production (beyond the huge garden that my parents have maintained each year forever).
I’ll keep you posted on the status.
