Life Among the L.A. Degenerates

Like most everybody, I agree that NBA owner Donald Sterling has shown himself to be a horse’s ass with his racist remarks. I don’t feel a bit sorry for him, in the grief he’s been getting. Should he be sanctioned by the NBA? I don’t know; I don’t follow sports, and I don’t know how […]

Like most everybody, I agree that NBA owner Donald Sterling has shown himself to be a horse’s ass with his racist remarks. I don’t feel a bit sorry for him, in the grief he’s been getting. Should he be sanctioned by the NBA? I don’t know; I don’t follow sports, and I don’t know how these things work in sports leagues. I am loath to hold the private remarks someone made against them as a public, but it appears that his private racial opinions may have had consequences in the workplace. I really don’t care what happens to this old buzzard. If your livelihood depends on the work of the same people you privately despise and maliciously denigrate because of their race, then you shouldn’t be surprised when those same people and their allies spite you.

That said, taste the Bonfire Of The Vanities deliciousness of this scandal:

Snoop Dogg is going OFF on Donald Sterling … blasting the L.A. Clippers owner for being a “racist piece of s**t” … and it’s all on video. Snoop unloaded first thing this morning when he heard the audio posted by TMZ Sports for the first time — dropping so many cuss words at Sterling … that Richard Pryor would be proud. Check out the clip … Snoop calls Sterling “bitch-ass redneck, white bread, chicken s**t mother f***er.”

Ah yes, Snoop Dogg, the moral conscience of the nation. The guy whose list of reasons he wouldn’t vote for Romney includes, “He a white nigga,” “He a ho,” and “He’s a Mormon, but he aint got no hoes.” Yes, Snoop, the former L.A. street pimp whose enlightened views on women show up in his artful lyrics; truly the man is a latter-day Cole Porter.

Honestly, all both these degenerates deserve each other.
