Julie just found this note folded up into a tiny square and placed under Nora’s pillow, with the tooth. She typed this all by herself, printed it out, and placed it for the Tooth Fairy (who very nearly forgot about it). The child has ridiculous expectations from the Tooth Fairy — an MP3 player for the Build-A-Bear doll she got for Christmas? Really? — but then again, if I had had to endure my first filling and then my first pulled tooth today (not the same tooth), I would be demanding some serious swag from the Tooth Fairy too. But in my case, that would have been Flintstones Xanax, for the next time.
