NRA isn’t exactly grassroots movement.
Tea Party started out grassroots, but they were quickly hijacked to become just a home for the more radical portion of the Republican party. I feel bad for the debt hawks and libertarians who had to see their movement turn into the place of “Keep the government out of my Medicare”.
