NRA isn’t exactly grassroots movement.
Tea Party started out grassroots, but they were quickly hijacked to become just a home for the more radical portion of the Republican party. I feel bad for the debt hawks and libertarians who had to see their movement turn into the place of “Keep the government out of my Medicare”.

Only unions,racial interest groups and AARP should have the right to lobby issues.
