More evidence of the media obsession with Karl Rove as esoteric phenomenon: London’s Daily Telegraph has named Mystic Karl America’s “most influential pundit”.
On the whole, the Telegraph’s “top 50” chart seems highly contentious (not to mention silly). I suppose that “influential” is vague enough to mean almost anything, and the list’s author, Toby Harnden, keeps the definition of pundit very broad. Is Matt Drudge, number 6, really a pundit? Is Rove?
