Is Pakistan Killing Our Troops?
The latest Wikileaks infobomb revealed hundreds of civilian deaths at the hands of NATO, among other “unreported” misadventures in Afghanistan. By exposing the truth, Wikileaks “puts the lives of Americans and our Allies at risk,” says The Obama Administration. The Dear Leader forgives many things. Unnecessarily endangering our troops isn’t one of them. Especially in Afghanistan, where He deploys them to defend our freedom from “maybe 50-100” members of Al Qaeda.
Every President hides behind his soldiers. This cloaks their wars from serious scrutiny. But for Obama, that tactic might be even more disingenuous.
According to one file released by Wikileaks, “Pakistan, an ostensible ally of the United States, allows representatives of its spy service to meet directly with the Taliban in secret strategy sessions,” and helps “organize networks of militant groups that fight against American soldiers in Afghanistan.” The New York Times reports this data is unverified, but that “many of the reports rely on sources that the military rated as reliable.” Other Wikileaks logs accuse Pakistan of supplying the Taliban with motorbikes for suicide bombings.
This is the same Pakistan Hillary Clinton called our “partner joined in common cause” while promising $500 million in foreign aid. War, like politics, makes for unsavory bedfellows. Is the US knowingly making cash payoffs to a government that mobilizes and arms its adversaries?
What ghastly allegations. Superpatriots, who still get all hot and bothered over Jane Fonda, should be appalled! Jane did mingle with the People’s Army of Vietnam. But she didn’t bequeath them a B-16.
Is Pakistan killing our soldiers? Was our troop-supporting President aware? Let the investigation begin.

Americans are the most naive nation on the planet. You go around killing innocent people all over the world and then have the simplicity to ask who is killing your soldiers…. I will tell you’ Bushs and Obamas are killing your soldiers, nobody else. Instead of believing in nonsense propaganda Americans should use their brains and ask their leaders what the heck their soldiers are doing there? protecting America or looting the resources of the weaker nations?????
There are better questions to ask, however. Is the Durand Line at all viable, and should we expect Pashtun Muslims to live in an area demarcated in the 19th Century by a Christian whose first name was Mortimer? Is the US in the area, as it is in the Middle East, fated to endure decades of frustration because that underlying conflict, plus the Kashmir one that pits India and Pakistan, both our allies, against one another in Afghanistan, so long as both are unresolved? For fear of rocking either boat we try to keep a foot in each and hold steady. When they start drifting apart, what happens to us is obvious.
Of course Pakistan is killing American soldiers. And we are sponsoring the death of American soldiers by giving Pakistan billions of dollars. And everybody knows about it – including Clinton and Obama. Not only that, they trained the Times square bomber. Clinton knows that as well. And yet we continue sending them billions of dollars. This is total madness.
“In 2006, Musharraf testified that this stance was pressured by threats from the U.S., and revealed in his memoirs that he had “war-gamed” the United States as an adversary and decided that it would end in a loss for Pakistan.”

Gee, how little time since Bush threatened Musharraf and made him pretend to be our buddy, that it takes libs to pretend that they REALLY used to be our buddies, and pretend neocons thought we could trust them.
And now it must be the evil US’s fault that we can’t (trust them).
To each their own agenda.
