Courage at 10 Downing

Britain’s newly elected conservative prime minister, David Cameron, has just described Gaza – under Israel’s control–as an open air “prison camp” , and sharply criticized Israel’s attack on the Turkish organized humanitarian aid flotilla.  Who will be the first neocon to complain about British “surrender monkeys”?  First commenter to guess correctly wins a small prize.

  2. I’d say Charles Krauthammer in about forty-five minutes on Baier’s Fox News’ program. Place your bets, people!

  3. Jonah Goldberg.

  4. Our buddy Jonah Goldb.rg from NRO,

  5. I would go with Krauthammer in the Wash Post.

  6. The correct answer is WaPo’s Jackson Diehl, HERE. But he’s not high-profile, and really I simply Googled it, so I doubt I deserve a prize.

  7. Yes, but Cameron made a mistake when he invited Turkey to join EU. What do you think about this?

  8. I’m not sure I understand your question, Sanchez.
Do you claim that by inviting Turkey to the EU, Cameron proved that Gaza wasn’t a prison camp, or do you say the invitation itself turned Gaza into one?
    Please clarify.

  9. [...] Scott McConnell at The American Conservative, The Guardian: David Cameron visits Turkey and compares blockaded Gaza to a “prison [...]

  10. @The Dod: No, it’s very good that Cameron has condemned Israel in the conflict in Gaza, but he made a mistake inviting Turkey into the EU.
However, it is much better in foreign policy than it was before with Blair and the neocons. But the mistake of inviting Turkey into the EU remains.

  11. I’ll do it myself. DaTechGuy says that this is fantasy and is basically another example of England afraid of their own Islamic Population thus unwilling to see things as they are.

And kissing up to the turks

    Questions?

  12. I say Chucky Krauthammer, and he will dig up British misdeeds in Northern Ireland and India in order to show Israeli conduct is not so bad.

  13. David Horowitz. Or one of the Podhoretz’s.

  14. That’s a fascinating comment coming from a country that is a whore to the Libyans
